Good News!

God has a plan of PEACE & HOPE for you!

(Note: the Scriptures are at the bottom of our post)

1.     God has a plan of peace for your future, but you must choose to obey Him. (Read Jeremiah 29:11-13)

2.     The bad news - Our sin has separated us from God. Our own choices cause separation if we choose not to obey God. (Read Romans 3:23)

3.     The GOOD NEWS ! - God loves us. God demonstrated His love for us by sending His Son JESUS to die for us even while we were still sinners. (Read Romans 5:8) "God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but everlasting life." (Read John 3:16-17)

4.     JESUS is the only way - Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6)

5.     Eternal life is a FREE gift - We don't have to work for it. We don't have to earn it. JESUS paid the price for us through his death on the cross and resurrection. "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 6:23)

6.     What must I do to be saved? - You must choose to obey God, and believe on JESUS with all of your heart.

o    "...if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved" (Romans 10:9)

o    "But as many as receive Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name." (John 1:12)

7.     Pray this prayer right now: God, I confess that I am a sinner. Please forgive me of all my sins. I receive your free gift of salvation. I confess with my mouth that Jesus is my Lord and believe in my heart that Jesus died and rose from the dead. I choose to live the rest of my life for you, God. Thank you for saving me. Amen.

8.     Tell someone what Jesus has done for you - "Everyone who shall confess me Me before men, I will also confess him before my Father who is in heaven". (Matthew 10:32)

9.     Start to read the Bible and attend church.
